Hello gentlepeople, welcome to Muted Mouthful! My name is Tiara (She/They/pronoun fluid), your humble host and guide through the inner workings of my mind. As someone that has felt misunderstood and out of place for most of my life, I now understand how important it is to share your story; this blog allows me to do so in the form of personal essays and creative writing. A to Z Challenge

Write out the alphabet in a list, then go through and think of a word beginning with each letter to describe a positive trait you have. You can get as creative as you want with the challenge (crack out those dictionaries for X!) but there must be absolutely no self-criticism or self-deprecation! Positive vibes only!

No Chill: An Introvert With Social Anxiety

There is a common misconception that being an introvert means you must have some form of social anxiety; the two terms are not interchangeable nor mutually exclusive. Introversion and social anxiety share some commonalities, but they do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.

I thought it would be nice to share my experience as an introvert with social anxiety would help differentiate the two.

5 Wedding Etiquette Rules I’m Breaking

Refusing to play by the rules is seen as a millennial trait instead of our parents or grandparents acknowledging the times are shifting. I feel people say “it’s your wedding, you can do what you want.” Then in the next breath go, ” but, you HAVE TO do these things.” I am taking the former to heart, at the cost of being labeled as the worst.
