There is so much tragedy in the world; it’s hard to feel like there’s any good. 2016 was an insane year for my family; the holiday season hasn’t been the same. This year I am choosing to focus on being thankful for everything I have.

A to Z Challenge

Write out the alphabet in a list, then go through and think of a word beginning with each letter to describe a positive trait you have. You can get as creative as you want with the challenge (crack out those dictionaries for X!) but there must be absolutely no self-criticism or self-deprecation! Positive vibes only!

No Chill: An Introvert With Social Anxiety

There is a common misconception that being an introvert means you must have some form of social anxiety; the two terms are not interchangeable nor mutually exclusive. Introversion and social anxiety share some commonalities, but they do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.

I thought it would be nice to share my experience as an introvert with social anxiety would help differentiate the two.

5 Wedding Etiquette Rules I’m Breaking

Refusing to play by the rules is seen as a millennial trait instead of our parents or grandparents acknowledging the times are shifting. I feel people say “it’s your wedding, you can do what you want.” Then in the next breath go, ” but, you HAVE TO do these things.” I am taking the former to heart, at the cost of being labeled as the worst.
